Putt Printing Company collection, 1910-1931.

Forty-seven advertising cards and blotters from the Adams-Brander, John Brander and Putt Printing Companies of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Joseph Adams joined with John Brander in 1906 to form the Adams-Brander Company located at 120 South Burdick. John Brander continued the firm in 1915, then known as the John Brander Company. In August 1921, George Putt bought the company but continued to operate it under the John Brander name until 1926 when it became known as Putt Printing. The business closed in 1962. In 1974 it reopened under the ownership of William E. Pryor and was in business until 1989.
